UK Benefits Report
2011 Report available to purchase now
Alan Jones & Associates produce a benefits review for each of their survey groups.
Once a year we take all of this data and produce a UK-wide overview of benefit packages. Over 400 companies contributed information on their key benefits.
The UK Benefits Report is based on a large and stable population and a particularly valuable section of this report contains trend analysis showing changes in UK benefit packages in the past ten years including changes to pension contributions for both employee and employer in money purchase and final salary schemes.
New topics - share schemes, maternity/paternity/adoption leave and pay and long service awards - were added in 2009. As before, all the questions are broken down into 6 employee levels from Director to Shop Floor.
Benefits covered include:
- Holidays (including service related holiday accrual)
- Hours of Work
- Pension Schemes (defined benefit, defined contribution and stakeholder - contributions, accrual rates, spouses' pension, etc.)
- Life Assurance
- Sick Pay (including progression with service)
- Permanent Health Insurance
- Medical Insurance (includes scope of schemes, providers, insurance excess)
- Dental and Optical Schemes
- Share Options
- Maternity, Paternity, Adoption Leave & Pay
