Survey established 2009 - group widened for 2011
Discussions between local employers in York highlighted the need for good, objective information about pay rates for the York area. These discussions led directly to the establishment, early in 2009, of the York Reward Network Salary Survey - a survey of pay rates for a wide range of benchmark jobs based in York. Following on from the first survey, the group have decided to expand the range of the survey and network to cover all of Yorkshire. The Reward Network has been re-named and is now the Yorkshire Reward Network.
Independent and Confidential Data Source
The pay and benefits survey is independent of the Network and is run on behalf of the members by Alan Jones & Associates to ensure the complete confidentiality of the input data. Each company contributing to the survey receives a tailor-made copy of the results which feeds back their own position against the survey group. Participants also have access at all times to the results on-line through the Alan Jones confidential web site.
Networking: Meetings and On-line
The Reward Network meets three times a year to discuss local issues and to share experiences. The group also has a question and answer facility (Groupshare) through the Alan Jones web site.
Subscriptions & How to Join
There are two levels of membership of the Reward Network. 1. Full membership including salary surveys, meetings and Groupshare. 2. Meetings and Groupshare. The subscription for the survey is tailored to the size of organisation.
