Yorkshire Reward Network

The network has been set up by HR professionals in the Yorkshire region in order to:

  • Provide a forum for employers in York and the surrounding area to share information and best practice on any aspect of Reward.
  • Enable members to benchmark their rewards policies and practices against those of other employers in the York area.
  • Facilitate detailed discussions and working groups on Rewards topics of mutual interest or concern.
  • Provide practical suggestions to reward survey providers on timing, the overlap of data and customisation of data for the group.

In addition to regular meetings, the group has commissioned an annual Salary & Benefits survey and a networking facility which enables group members to ask questions on topical issues at any time.

A survey providing local data for Yorkshire

The Yorkshire Salary & Benefits Survey is a new survey for the area and is run on behalf of the Yorkshire Reward Network. The network has been set up to provide a forum for employers in Yorkshire to share information and best practice on any aspect of Reward and to enable members to benchmark their rewards policies and practices against those of other local employers. The salary and benefits survey has been developed to provide a mechanism for the confidential sharing of data in an anonymised format.

The salary survey covers a wide range of jobs in a number of functions including:

  • Marketing & Sales
  • Customer Service
  • Facilities/Maintenance
  • Purchasing
  • Administration/Secretarial
  • Health & Safety
  • Manufacturing

The Yorkshire Salary & Benefits Survey is now run continuously and is for participants only. Any organisation with job matches in the region is eligible to join. The survey is paid for by participant subscription which covers:

  • Annual hard copy print-out/pdf copy
  • On-line survey results
  • Benefits review results available on-line at all times
  • On-line question & answer forum for the group (Groupshare)
  • Access to Alan Jones HR Policy Surveys free of charge

Subscriptions & How to Join

There are two levels of membership of the Reward Network. 1) Full membership including Salary & Benefit surveys, meetings and Groupshare. 2) Meetings and Groupshare. The subscription for the survey is tailored to the size of organisation: £385 plus VAT for those with 300 and fewer employees, £485 plus VAT for those with 301 and over. The subscription for meeting and Groupshare only is £110 plus VAT.
