The BIVDA Salary & Benefits Survey was designed in association with BIVDA to provide members with access to validated market pay data for key employees working in the sector. The survey can be joined by any BIVDA member company operating in the UK.
The Salary Survey covers a range of jobs in the following functions:
This year, we are also including Production, Technical and Warehousing roles (the jobs specifications for these are in the Excel questionnaire).
Information on basic pay, bonus, target bonus, company car/car allowances is included in the survey and the analysis has been devised to take into account organisation size.
The BIVDA Salary & Benefits Survey is run annually and is for participants only. Any company in the sector with matches is eligible to join. The survey is paid for by participant subscription which covers:

The benefits questionnaire is online and is available to any organisation taking part in the salary survey. The benefits section of the BIVDA Salary & Benefits Survey covers:
Participants must submit their benefits information to access this section of the BIVDA survey.
The survey is strictly confidential and participant-only - only those contributing their own data to the survey will receive access to the results. We do not give or sell information from salary surveys to any third party.
The analysis is statistical showing the feedback in medians, quartiles, deciles and averages job by job. We ensure anonymity including following specific rules on minimum matching, i.e. the median on a job is only shown where there are three companies reporting, quartiles with four or five reporting and deciles with six. We check matches for outweighing and if one participant has more than 25% of the job holders their input will be reduced. We validate all input data and we may contact participants to discuss any concerns. We may remove information which is anomalous. Participants receive a customised copy of the survey analysis, i.e. feeding back their own position vs the group for their matches. In the final report, names of contributing organisations are shown but only in a list of participants and not in the survey analysis. If this is a problem for your company, please contact us.
Alan Jones & Associates are registered with Data Protection although we do not hold any personal information about the people in the jobs, just the salary that the job is paid.
